A Little Less Trashy
A Little Less Trashy
This is me with my middle girl who is wearing a dress that was mine when I was her age.  This was a really big day for her, and re-wearing this dress made it even more special.  I am wearing a dress from a local consignment shop - a way nicer brand than I would have been able to buy new.

Welcome, and thanks for coming!

I'm Elizabeth.  My interest in zero waste and minimalism started off obsessive, but has transformed over the past 7 years into a plan to fit zero waste into a lifestyle that feels natural and comfortable for my family.  I am wife to Joe and mother of 3. Our changes have become second nature in a way that allows me to continue to make small changes every couple of weeks to bring us closer to my goal of zero waste.  In addition to quietly obsessing about the Earth and my footprint, I work as a middle school counselor.

I am a firm believer that our small lives are worth living, and that even the smallest deeds and changes can make an impact.  My professional and private choices center on this theory.  I try to make my small deeds good and  my changes positive.  I might not be trailblazing, but I hope to help embolden others to make some small positive changes to help our Earth and each other.
